ALTITUDE

Privacy

This page explains which data is processed on altitude.vertical-development.com, what we use it for and which rights you have. For our main site vertical-development.com, the privacy policy there applies.

1. Controller

VERTICAL Development GmbH, Schinkestr. 9, 12047 Berlin, Germany. Managing Director: Achim Feige. For any privacy question, write to hello@vertical-development.de.

2. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, Netlify processes technically necessary data, mainly your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). According to Netlify, these logs are kept for less than 30 days. We have a data processing agreement with Netlify; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.

3. Cookies and your consent

The site works without cookies. On your first visit we ask whether we may use an analytics tool. We remember your answer in your browser's local storage (entry “vd_consent”) so that we do not ask again on every visit. Without your consent, no analytics tool is loaded. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Legal bases are § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

4. Microsoft Clarity

If you agree, we use Microsoft Clarity, a service of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Clarity shows us in pseudonymous form how the site is used, such as clicks, scroll depth and the course of a visit as a recording. Entries in form fields are masked. Clarity sets cookies for this (including “_clck” and “_clsk”) and processes your IP address and device and browser information. Data may be transferred to Microsoft Corporation in the USA; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings. More in the Microsoft privacy statement.

5. Cookies from our main site

If you visited vertical-development.com before and gave consent there, cookies of the main domain (for example from Google Analytics) may also be visible on this subdomain. This site itself does not load those services. They are managed through the consent on the main site.

6. Video by Vimeo

The video on the home page is embedded via Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, New York, NY 10001, USA). We embed it with the “Do Not Track” parameter, so Vimeo does not build a usage profile via cookies. When the player loads, Vimeo still receives your IP address and technical information about your browser. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting ALTITUDE to you personally (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). More in the Vimeo privacy policy.

7. Applying and booking a call

On the English pages, the application runs via Typeform (Typeform SL, Carrer Bac de Roda 163, 08018 Barcelona, Spain) and call booking via Calendly (Calendly LLC, Atlanta, Georgia, USA). On the German pages, booking runs via iClosed (app.iclosed.io). We process the details you enter there to answer your request and to hold the conversation (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

8. Waitlist and emails

If you join the waitlist, we process your first name and email address to send you the information announced. The basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the end of every email. We use Kit (ConvertKit LLC, Boise, Idaho, USA) as a processor for sending; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.

9. Links to the calculator and the Diagnostic

The calculator (workshop.vertical-development.com) and the CEO Bottleneck Diagnostic (diagnostic.vertical-development.com) are separate sites. What is processed there is explained on those sites.

10. Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your message and contact details in order to reply (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.

11. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Simply write to hello@vertical-development.de.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
